The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use, including small shrinkage splits to the joints (eg. to one foot).
As noted, the bed has been redecorated.
The bed comes with later iron brackets and wooden castors .
The painted decoration is slightly rubbed and flaking in areas, as to be expected, mostly to the raised elements of the decoration and there are some small chips along the edges (eg. above one foot).
Previously with cross-struts and with repairs to the side-rails.
