Decorated overall with bulbous guilloche borders, each arched padded end centred by a pair of laurel and rose wreaths flanked by ribbon-tied foliage swags and acanthus finials, upholstered with a polychrome checker pattern on a white ground, on ring-turned feet, with later iron brackets and lignum vitaecastors (not illustrated), redecorated
