The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good decorative order. Minor chipping, small losses and restorations to applied flowers. Some wear, small surface scratches or abrasions throughout.
The green cockatoo applied to the vase bod with minor chipping to the top of his headfeathers. The red parrot to the body of the vase with restoration to his wing tips and tail. The yellow canary to the base with restoration to his tail and beak. The goldfinch applied to cover with restoration to tip of beak and tail feathers. The cover with 4 cm. long crescent shaped break restorated and overpainted to rim. Two leaves to cover with more obvious restorations.
The gilt stems and leaves with some small breaks and losses. Some re-gilding, presumably concealing some elements of restoration. One leaf to base with more obvious restoration to one lobe. Some wear to gilding, particularly at rim. The base with a glaze crack.
