There are the inevitable knocks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use
Chair A: with a 4 inch chip to the cresting, various chips and losses to the painted decoration
Later blocks, evidence of previous upholstery with consequential pinholes
Chair B: some chips to the painted decoration to the back of the cresting, rerailed, later blocks
The upholstery to both armchairs in good condition
Traces of historic, apparently inactive woodworm to the underside
Structurally sound and ready to use
