Rectangular, with a sloping hinged cover set with a malachite panel, opening to reveal three miniature drawers, with two malachite-set hinged doors in the middle, opening to reveal a compartment, flanked by two caryatid pilasters, decorated overall with mythical birds and etched cartouches on gilt bronze; together with a rectangular agate box on ball feet, probably Northern Europe, second half 19th century
