The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frames. There is some very slight discolouration and some small spots of foxing to the sheets in places. There is some light staining to some of the prints, primarily to the edges. There is a semi-circular pale brown stain, measuring approximately 12cm, to the upper right margin of ‘Tom Loates’, extending into the pale blue ground. There are very light horizontal creases to ‘Charlie Wood’ visible only under raking light. There are some further extremely light creases to the other sheets, visible only under close inspection. To ‘Tom Cannon’, there are a few scattered spots where white fibres have become affixed to the printed surface, most apparent to the red stripes. There is some very slight undulation to one or two sheets. There are traces of light surface dirt. Subject to the above, the works appear to be in very good overall condition.
