MODERN, VARIOUS INCISED AND IMPRESSED DODIE THAYER, PINEAPPLE AND PALM TREE MARKS

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Generally good condition; typical small scattered chips to the rims and high points, a few of these small chips restored; some typical craze lines; minor wear; sizes and any further condition issues noted below:

A tureen cover and stand, 13¹⁄₂ in. diameter, the stand-- A restuck chip to the inner rim of the cover, one leaf of the stand with a restored crack, otherwise in good order.

Four salt and pepper shakers, 3³⁄₄ in. high-- Generally good condition, the narrower pair with some very small chips to the leaf-tips.

Six small bowls, 5¹⁄₄ in. diameter-- Most with small chips to the wavy rims, otherwise in good order.

Six luncheon plates, 10 in. diameter-- Good condition, two with rim chips (one of these with the chip very small and under the rim).

Two cake plates, 8¹⁄₈ in. diameter-- Nice condition.

Sixteen side plates (one slightly variant), 6¹⁄₈ in. diameter- Overall good condition; scattered chips, one large, most very tiny.

Two small butter dishes, 3³⁄₄ in. diameter-- One with a rim chip near 7 o'clock.

A cream-jug, 3¹⁄₈ in. high- Good condition, minute chip.

An open two-handled sugar-bowl, 5 in. wide- Good condition.

Four breakfast cups and saucers, 6¹⁄₂ in. diameter, the saucers-- Generally good condition, one cup with a small rim chip and a stained U-shaped hairline to rim; a couple stained glaze lines to interiors.

Ten teacups and saucers, 6¹⁄₄ in. diameter, the saucers- Generally good condition; a few tiny scattered chips; the interiors of few cups with some light staining.

Six coffee-cups and four saucers, 5¹⁄₄ in. diameter, the saucers-- One cup with its handle broken in pieces (not attached); the other cups and saucers in good condition, a few tiny chips.

Seven demitasse cups and saucers, 4¹⁄₂ in. diameter, the saucers- Nice condition, a few tiny chips only.

Two large candlesticks, 11 in. high-- Each with one large leaf at the rim cracked and restuck; one with a large chip to one of the lower leaves.

Five small flaring bud vases, 3 in. high-- Good condition, a few tiny chips only.

Three small oviform bud vases, 3 in. high-- Good condition, a few tiny chips only.
