The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With some scattered surface abrasions, some splits at color changes, minor oxidation. Very small reweaves to the bottom edge, a triangular reweave to upper left corner, approx 1in by 8in. Some further minor scattered reweaves; not extensive. Scattered restitching, not extensive. An approx 3 in tear with some small associated losses to the sky to the right of the tree. Scattered surface dirt and spot stains; will enhance with cleaning. Lacking borders, now bound on all four sides, reverse with later linen backing and hanging loops sewn on reverse at top. Sound fabric, good overall condition, will enhance with cleaning and some restoration.
