The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Structurally sound and ready to use. With general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. The walnut veneers with some minor scattered fraying, craquelure, and some scattered small patch repairs. Old repairs to the feet commensurate with use. The proper right arm upright is a well-carved replacement which has been done in mahogany. The ears are polished and have aged to a slightly different color, they have repairs and are possibly original.
