With a clean, complete well-maintained appearance, structurally sound and ready to use. With scattered age and construction cracks, and overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use, the most prominent repair being to the back upper corner of the fretwork at the proper left side. A long chip to the interior edge of the back seatrail. Overall with evidence of minor woodworm damage, now inactive, mainly to the upper medial stretcher. The seat, as stated in the cataloguing, with later recaning. The surface with a somewhat polished finish, the polychrome painting in fair condition with rubbing and areas of loss consistent with age and use. The upholstery with marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, as to be expected from use.
