The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good condition. With very minor scattered surface wear including light surface scuffs and scratches consistent with age and handling. The silvered and gilt metal with some rubbing, minor oxidation and in some areas a slight build up of polish residue. The enamel generally in good condition, with some light surface wear, and some very minor rubbing and some small losses at raised areas. Presents very well as a garniture.
Each of the vases appear to have restorations where the bodies meet the socles, and with very minor associated refreshment to the decoration, not readily visible. One vase with a very small area of refreshment to the decoration under the lip around the mouth of the vase. The other example with loss to the gilding of the central silver-gilt band.
The ewer with a possible restoration at the socle. With some separation around the central band, lifting very slightly but stable. Possibly previously with an additional decorative element just beneath the handle. The silvered metal tarnished in areas and with a slight build up of polish residue on the handle.
