The ebony-strung top with a brass border mount, the round outset corners over turned and reeded columns carved with stiff-leaf capitals, bases and knops, the doors with brass lattice and later green fabric lining, the interior later-fitted with four deep drawers, the back with an applied Ronald Phillips trade label numbered '11910', a partial white chalk inscription apparently reading 'CORBYN / ?ORCH FARM / ROTHERING / LOT 66, 67'
