The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Present very well; some light surface wear and light rubbing to the enamels and gilding; the interiors with further wear from use; some small firing flaws in the making, including firing lines (mainly to the undersides/interiors); some very small scattered chips/frits (some restored); the example with the red rim with areas of shallow rim restorations, probably to fritting/chips; the blue rimmed example with restoration to two opposing corners of the base with overpaint encircling the top of the outer footrim where it meets the jardinière body. The hole at the base each each jardinière now filled with a putty like substance.
