The ovoid cup and conforming domed cover chased with lobes, the finial as a leafy tree surmounted by a bird, the stem as a tree trunk with a woodcutter holding an ax, on a lobed circular foot, marked on upper rim, foot rim, and side of cover with town mark, maker's mark, and assay scrape, upper rim and foot rim also with 1806 Lemberg tax mark, the upper rim also with Austro-Hungarian 1809 tax mark
