The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good decorative order with minor wear and flaking to enamels, chipping, losses and restorations to applied leaves and foliage and occasional minute chipping.

The male pug -- some flaking to black enamels, particularly around muzzle and ears. Slight chipping to ears.

The female example -- cracked to base, extending up onto her body between her right hindleg and the pup's hindquarters, spreading at the top of her leg with one branch spreading 3 cm. towards front leg. Another 3.5 cm. crack behind left hindleg from base. Her tail broken and re-stuck with hard lacquer concealing restoration.
Some chipping to edge of base. Blue bow to her collar with restoration to one corner. Some flaking to black enamels, chipping to ears.
