This set of four paintings of the Bramham Moor Hunt were commissioned from the artist by Major The Hon. Edward Cecil Lascelles, the second son of the 5th Earl of Harewood. Major Lascelles was a former master of the Bramham Moor Hunt, and each painting shows a different location within Bramham Moor country.

The canvases are all unlined. There is some surface dirt and the paintings might benefit from a light clean.
Gone away - there is a rectangular patch to the lower right quadrant (viewed from the reverse) approx. 4 x 61⁄2 in. Under UV light there is an old repaired L-shaped tear just above the riderless horses approx. 1 x 4 in.
Otherwise there are no signs of damage or retouching to any of the other pictures.
