In the Rococo style, tapering cylindrical, column shape chased with panels of scaling within scrolling frames terminating as a foliate shell, the hinged cover shaped as a putto sitting on a rock with drape over his shoulder and holding a shield chased with a mask Minerva, in contemporary shagreen case, apparently unmarked
