The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In good, country house condition.
There are the inevitable nicks, marks, scratches and shrinkage consistent with age and use.
The top slightly sunfaded, scratched and with some water marks and residue to the top.
Some discouloured patches, such as to the proper left side.
The proper front left bracket foot with a chipped loss to the veneer (approx 3.5 cm.), coloured in.
Shrinkage separation to back boards and dustboard of first long drawer.
The mounts original but slightly rubbed.
Minor traces of old, apparently inactive, woodworm.
The back with an indistinctly inscribed label.
