The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition.
With the inevitable chips, marks, and scratches consistent with age and use.
Some dust to recessed areas, could benefit from a light clean
Some evidence of historic woodworm (presently inactive).
Scattered patched repairs throughout.
The carved front seat rail and knees of both with chips to raised areas.
Some shrinkage cracks throughout.
Chair A:
The right arm with repaired break to the front of the right arm terminal, with subsequent infill repair.
A further repaired break to the back of right arm where it meets the upright.
A repaired break to the upright below the right arm, with infill repair.
Two later corner braces to the front.
Chair B:
Two later corner braces to the front.
Scattered patched repairs throughout with associated infill.
Repair to top of the front left leg.
Worm damage to the back rail with subsequent infill repair.
One seat cushion with a blue ink stain to back right corner.
The other with significant damage to the centre of the upholstery revealing the cushion beneath.
