The toprail centred by a shell carving with foliate sprays, above a shaped open back with pierced heart shaped splat, the scrolling out-curved arms above supports carved with scrolls and flowerheads, the serpentine seat-rail centred by a stylised scallop-shell and flanked by foliate carved knees, on pad feet, the drop-in padded seat upholstered in green silk damask
