This elegant chair is in overall good condition.
There is general wear and tear throughout consistent with age and use, including scratches, minor chips and scuffing.
The back stretcher probably original.
The seat rails original with some minor old worm damage. Some minor splitting and glued repairs with small fillets of wood let in to the top edges of the seat rails.
Some screw holes in rails, possibly previously securing corner brackets.
Both ears replaced on front right leg.
The back right and left feet with a spliced repair.
Upholstery pieced together from fragments on outsides of arms, there is some fading and fraying throughout. The beige upholstery to the back of the chair with some minor marks. The brass studded upholstery is in good condition, with some natural wear.
Structurally sound and ready to use.
