Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843), maître fondeur-ciseleur in 1772.

Related etageres by Thomire with the same bacchantes decorating the base but with two rather than three tiers were formerly in the collection of King Umberto II of Italy and sold Robert de Balkany Rome & the Côte d’Azur, Christie's London, 22-23 March 2017, lot 576.
