The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The basalt example:
Overall in good order.
Some very minor chipping to the footrim and to the edge/corners of the base. Minute surface scratching, otherwise in good order.
The rosso antico example:
Overall in good decorative order. The jar with some very minor rim chipping, small chip to one corner of the base, some minor losses to the black decoration in relief.
