The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With surface abrasions throughout, most visible in field, with scattered visible foundation; scattered reweaves of various sizes throughout, including a 12 in. x 12 in. to one corner, a 15 in. x 6 in. to one short border, and reweaves of various lengths to outer borders, among others; one end border with some color runs, probably from an old repair; the ends are folded under and sewn; some small losses to the dark brown background of the border, which are now stabilized with a mesh sewn on reverse; some scattered very minor slits; light surface dirt; backed securely with a modern pad; supple handle, good color retention, fully restored and ready for use.
