The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. The pierced ormolu sections to the sides and lower case, and the trelliswork to the back, are slightly bent, as to be expected. The glazing over the dial with light scratches, commensurate with age. The dial also with light scratches and hairlines, some minor chips around the winding holes and perimeter, possibly replaced. Some dust to recessed areas, would enhance with a gentle cleaning. The fabric lining to the interior is later. The lower hinge at the backdoor is lacking much of its pin. The are some faint letters on back of bezel, spelling '??TARD'.
