Modeled as a winged putto unveiling a circular clock-case supported by a fluted column, on a rectangular ormolu plinth cast with goat heads and garlands centered by bearded masks, the alabaster base fitted with ormolu scrollwork, the dial inscribed 'Robin hger. du Roy / A PARIS', the movement stamped 'ETIENNE MAXANT BREVETE PARIS'
