In sturdy condition, ready to place. As stated in the cataloguing, the upholstery is associated. With scattered age and construction cracks. With general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs, mainly to the ear-pieces, consistent with age and use. Also with various repairs to feet. Possibly previously but not originally with castors. With later corner blocks. The upholstery with the expected fading, general wear, restitching, minor marks and faint discoloration, commensurate with age and use. Sections of varying sizes are inserted or restitched, the central petit-point scene inserted and possibly of a later date than the surrounding gros-point. A small slit to the join between the ground at the central scene, and the floral gros-point below. Overall good presentation.
