In sturdy condition, ready to place. With scattered age and construction cracks, and with general overall marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use; some of the repairs to the underside executed with staples. Small split to proper left back ear. Some sun-fading to the back legs. The underside with later corner struts and evidence of previous glue-blocks in the corners. Some evidence of previous old woodworm to the rails at both, now inactive. The recessed leather castors probably original. Proper left back foot tipped. Also with old repairs to proper left arm. As stated in the cataloguing, the upholstery is of a later date and associated. With the expected fading, general wear, restitching, minor marks and faint discoloration, commensurate with use. Overall good presentation, good size, ready to use.
