The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition. With scattered age and construction cracks consistent with age and use, most visible in corners of frame and around the face of the central female mask. With scattered restored cracks and breaks to carving, most visible to top of central plume above female mask. Proper right side lacking a bird figure in the cresting. Gesso with scattered cracks, chips and rubbing. Gesso is slightly listing in some areas; not extensive and overall stable. Gilding refreshed overall and now with some losses and rubbing. Mirror plate replaced but a well-matched replacement.
