The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. The putto possibly lacking an element in his hands. The ormolu with some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. The highest scroll with a horizontal crack, likely from an old impact, now stable. The glazing over the dial with light scratches, commensurate with age. The dial also with light scratches and hairlines, some chips around the winding holes and perimeter. The ormolu trellis-work lightly bent and with small portions lacking to each side of the clock face, as to be expected. Some dust to recessed areas, would enhance with a gentle cleaning. The back lacking the hinged door over the movement, applied with two large 'bumper' pads to protect the wall. Overall good presentation, ready to hang.
