The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presents very well and of impressive size; some light scratches and wear; a touched-up V shaped crack running through the plaque from approx. 12 o’clock, right side of the V coming half-way down the plaque, the other extending across the plaque to 6 o’clock; some touched-up typical chips to the edges and corners; some additional small edge chips, obscured by the frame; some imperfections in the making (not unusual with such a large ceramic), including a firing line and white firing flaw both near the edge at 8 o’clock; the piece did not fire perfectly flat. The plaque not examined outside of its frame. Christie’s does not inspect or warrantee the condition of frames.
