The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The catalogue illustrations are accurate.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
There are some losses to the white and green lacquer, revealing the white gesso and the bare wood underneath.
There are some minor cracks to the carving as expected especially to the left upright.
