The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Condition report :
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
Some parts of the veneer next to the border are slightly lifted to the top, with some minor losses.
There are other minor losses to the veneer especially one to the right part of the front and to the back feet.
The back left foot is loose and needs to be refixed properly.
There are some traces of woodworms now apparently inactive with worm-eaten parts especially two important to the top and some others to the upper moldings of the front.
There are some shrinkage cracks to the veneer but also into the drawers.
There are some minor restorations with "gomme-laque" paste filling throughout.
Minor parts of the upper escutcheon is missing.
The veneer of the feet has been restored.
