Condition report : The catalogue illustrations are accurate. Good overall condition There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use. As stated in the catalogue, there is a spurius stamp 'E. LEVASSEUR' under the back backrail. There are some restorations, especially to the engraving and the marquetry. There are some minor inevitable dents, chips and scratches to the brass, especially to the top. There are some very minor signs of tarnishing to the bronzes. The left satyre ormolu mount is wobbly and needs to be refixed properly (a few nails are missing).
