The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The vases have not been examined without their mount.
Both vases with their base pierced.
Both vases' mouth rims have possibly been slightly polished to fit the mount.
Some hairlines and glaze crackles, especially in the vases' lower section.
Some wear to the filt decoration and to the enamels.
Some scattered firing faults/cracks, as well as glaze faults/gaps.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
Some wear to the gilt-bronze mounts.
