The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The gilt-bronze profiles:
There are the invitables stains, rubbed and tarnished areas to the gilding.
All reliefs are regilt and fixed to the frames with some new screws.
A minor crack to the lower part of one (approx. 2 cm).

The frames:
Frames are later with some numbers painted in black ink to the reverse.
There are some differences with the frames (3 different types of frames).
All walnut frames are regilt and repainted in white with some rubbed areas and chips, especially the frame of the Virgin.
Some visibles wood worms traces to 5 frames.
Some traces of dust to the frames, including to the white background.
Two frames with a vertical crack and a modern back wood plaque.
