The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The website illustrations are accurate despite being slightly too bright.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
Marble :
There are some minor scratches and chips to the marble top especially to the edges, as expected.
Wood : there are some minor vertical shrinkage cracks especially to the both sides. There are some very minor stains and white marks.
Front panel : with minor restorations with black lacquer. With minor cracks.
The engraving on the mother-of-pearl is partly vanished.
Gilding : very slightly rubbed and tarnished as expected.
One shelf inside needs to be re-fixed properly.
Structurally sound.
