The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Provisional CR :
Good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing due to age and use.
Tops : there are some wears to the central part of the both tops due to a previous object.
With some shrinkage cracks and losses to the lacquer.
Mahogany : there are some traces of humidity stains throughout, with some minor white stains throughout.
There are some minor restorations with gomme laque paste filling as expected.
Base : there are some visible restorations to the veneer especially to the corners.
With dents and a minor crack to the right base corner of one pedestal.
Gilding : with some signs of tarnishing, especially to the mask.
There are some parts which are slightly bumped.
Slightly woobly.
