The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Condition report:
The catalogue illustrations are accurate.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
Some ormolu elements are detached and need to be refixed properly, especially the handles, the guirlands and the pearls of one cassolette.
The handles of the other cassolette are slightly wobbly.
There are some very minor signs of tarnishing to the bronzes, as expected.
