There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
There are some losses to the gilding and to the black lacquer, revealing the bare wood underneath.
There are some very minor losses to the carving, especially to the flowers and to the extremities of the feet.
There are some minor cracks, stains and marks to the leather cover.
The leather cover is slightly unsewn to the back left foot.
