Oval, decorated with engine-turned thread panels framed by blue thin band, the cover chased with a friese of scrolling foliate branches emerging from cornucopia enamelled in sky blue and centred by an enamelled medallion depicting a cupid with a two doves on column in the background, marked in cover and base: make and flowerhead; on flange: Hanau, Dutch import mark and French control mark for foreign objects
