The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Provisional condition report:
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches, shrinkage cracks and rubbing consistent with age and use.
There was originally a writing table in the central drawer
There are some marks, circular traces and traces of burn to the leather top.
There are some losses to the varnish especially to the top.
There are some restorations to the top especially with "gomme-laque" paste filling.
There are some other restorations to the veneer.
The right part of one chevalet is detached to the top and needs to be refixed properly.
The smallest easel is partly restored.
The lateral writing tables are slightly worn with water and colored stains.
There is a minor hole in the central drawer next to the locker with ink stains.
There are some other restorations with "gomme-laque" paste filling throughout.
There are some very minor marks to the edges of the feet as expected.
There are some minor signs of tarnishing to the brass with some darker stains to the central drawer probably due to some acid.
Structurally sound.
