The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In fairly good condition overall.
There are the inevitable, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
The bronze mounts with some wear to the gilding, dirt to the recessed areas and minor verdigris, they retain a rich tone.
Both handles slightly loose, with consequential chipping to the centre of the body of the vase.
As stated in the cataloguing, the vase was previously mounted on a base, which it was cut to fit, probably ormolu, now lacking. As a result there are some chips to the edges of the glass base.
