The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The frames with age and construction gaps as expected with age and use. The decoration refreshed. Some minor craquelure and rubbing to the giltwood, revealing bole beneath in areas. Later corner blocks to underside. One with pencil inscription to underside of seat rail dated 1933. The textile covering in good condition, with some fading and wear as expected.
