After the design by Mikhail Adamovich, the cavetto painted with ration cards, portrait of Lenin, and inscription in Russian ‘He Who Does Not Work Does Not Eat’ around the border, the centre also inscribed with ‘RSFSR’ in Cyrillic beneath a red star, marked under base with green underglaze factory mark and blue overglaze hammer, sickle and cog, and the date '1924', also numbered ‘243/90’
