Formed as a triumphal arch, the rectangular base with a three quarters balustrade, the surface in translucent purple enamel over wavy and hexagonal guilloche grounds, the arch fronted by two white enameled columns and surmounted by putti linked by floral garlands and reaching towards a large basket overflowing with roses, the clock suspended from the arch and over a central urn of flowers, marked on base rim with maker's mark and French control mark, the underside engraved STERLING - TIFFANY & CO. - FRANCE
