In decorative condition, sound and ready to place. The marble with natural inclusions, light surface wear, a slight build up of dirt in crevices and minor abrasions. With scattered small nicks and 'nibbles' primarily to edges. With a repaired Y-shaped crack to the center of his chest, with associated infilled repair, now somewhat discolored with age. With a further repaired crack to his right shoulder, with infilled repair. With some minor pitting to the back of his head. With some further small, flat-chipped losses along the back edge and to the socle. The later pedestal with natural inclusions, minor surface wear, nicks, 'nibbles' and minor losses, mostly along the base of the pedestal.
