Rectangular, champlevé enameled overall with opaque white stripes alternating with bright-cut gold bands, with two side bands enameled with a geometric motif in green, red and white, the interior of the cover set with a mirror, with a rose-cut diamond-set thumb-piece, with a side compartment, possibly for a match strike, marked inside base and on the flange with workmaster’s initials, also with London import marks for 1911

The drawing of the present vesta case is featured in a surviving Henrik Wigström’s album of working designs and completed pieces, numbered ‘13424’ and dated '8.XII.1912' (U. Tillander-Godenhielm et al., Golden Years of Fabergé: Drawings and Objects from the Wigström Workshop, Paris, 2000, p. 49, pl. 103).
