The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall sound condition. The marble with natural inclusions, nicks and 'nibbles' to edges. With a crack across the center with associated infilled repair, as well as to the front right corner; another restored break to the left hand side. With typical scattered nicks, surface marks, scuffs and scratches, as expected with age. The veneer with some cracking, lifting and flaking, and some areas restabilized and with minor restoration including infill, including to the back right side and center right frieze. With some separation at joins, including along the roudned corners around the rosettes; the corner bracket on the right-hand side loose but presently stable. The ormolu with significant oxidation, tarnish and verdigris. With one key, the interior with two shelves.
