The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Present very well; some typical light wear and scratches, some minor kiln imperfections in the making, some scattered frits and tiny shallow chips. One vase with three restored rim chips, the overpaint now slightly discolored, one of these chips with an associated fine hairline, approx. 3 in. long; the lower body with a touched-up up frit just above the footrim. The other vase with the upper 3/4 of the vase broken in several pieces and restored with some associated overpaint and touch-up to many of the cracks.
