拍品專文

The present meat dish covers were part of an extensive service, including several candelabra, entrée dishes, wine coolers, and coasters, as well as ten dish covers in sizes, commissioned by William George Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire (1790-1858) in the 1820's. Pieces from this service are still in the collection of Chatsworth House, Derbyshire.
