The campan marble plinths with chips, 'nibbles' and small losses, one with an approximately 3 in. irregular sized restored area to one corner with glue residue at the tip. The cylindrical griotte bases with some chips, abrasions, both cemented and one with glue residue to the cracks on the underside, one with a 1 in. shallow patch/restoration to the upper edge, the other one with an irregular restoration to the top, both with a small plugged hole to the back at the bottom, indicating there would have been an additional garland to the reverse. The base with a restored crack also has a discolored filled restoration at the base at the ormolu mount. The rosettes on both are replaced. One of the arms of the candelabrum where the lady is holding up her garment with a break at the base. The ormolu overall in good condition with oxidation, surface dirt and some light rubbing. Would benefit from a gentle cleaning. The patinated bronze with some rubbing and light surface scratches as to be expected. Overall good condition, large size, lovely rendering. Ready to place.
